We’re an exciting, inclusive volleyball club for juniors aged 5-16. Our club is open to everyone, with no prior experience needed. Our club runs all year round and we run indoor volleyball at the sports centre during the Winter months (Sep - Mar) and beach volleyball at our very own beach courts through the Summer months (Apr - Sep).
Each season, we provide competitive opportunities to look forward to in both indoor and beach, including the Volleyball England Indoor Grand Prix, local friendlies and the UK Junior Beach Tour tournaments.

Sign ups can either be done by each school term or for the full year. Below you can find out all the information you need and if you still have questions then feel free to email us at info@deepdishbeach.com.
If you are signing up for the first time and want to have a free trial beforehand then please follow the link on the sign up page. We do have a limited capacity at the club and therefore trials may not always be available.
5 - 8 YEARS
We focus on creating a fun environment whilst developing a positive relationship with physical activity. We teach the basic skills of volleyball (dig, set, hit) alongside movement patterns and healthy competition. Sessions will improve co-ordination and understanding the importance of working as a team.

Teaching the basic skills of volleyball are prominent in the development of our 9 - 12 group. We work on encouraging our players to display correct technique and gain an understanding of the tactical patterns of game play. We show them what a good team player is and enjoying the process of learning.

13 - 16 YEARS
As you can see below, we have 2 separate groups for our 13 - 16 year olds (Development & Performance). Selections for these groups will be made during the first half of term 1. Should players join after the first half of term 1, it will be subject to availability in each group.
13 - 16 YEARS: DEVELOPMENT
The development squad will consist of a mixture of those just starting out in their volleyball journey and those who have only been playing for a limited time. Training will be based around game play, improving technical and tactical skills as well as developing as a team player.

We push our players to reach the next level. Training will be based around understanding the advanced tactics of game play as well as continuing to improve technical skills and adding variety to each players game. We aim to push players into the national talent pathway and support in their development.
