- 05
Of course you can! The club is open to any juniors looking to start volleyball regardless of ability or level.
- 06
The minimum age for U12's development sessions is 8 years old (born before 01/09/2017). If your child is younger and wants to get involved with volleyball, take a look at our Fun Camp, which runs for 5-14 year olds during the school holidays.
- 07
Performance Squads are selected by coaches from a mixture of previous players, development players who have progressed to the competitive level, and new trialists. If you want to be considered for a performance squad, please fill in our trial enquiry form so we can assess your level and find the right squad for you.
- 08
We welcome new players at any point in the season as long as we are below capacity. To get started, fill in our enquiry form, and we will arrange a suitable day for a trial session.
- 09
U12, U16, and U18 development players have one training session per week. U18 performance squads have two dedicated training sessions per week. U16 performance squads have one dedicated performance training session, but can also attend the U16 development session every week.
- 10
We allow every player to have one taster session before committing to membership. Fill in our enquiry form if you would like to trial before signing up.
- 11
U18 Performance Squad players are expected to attend both training sessions per week, and U16 Performance Squad players are expected to attend at least their one performance training per week. Consistent attendance is imperative for building a strong team and gives each player the best chance to get playing time at competitions. Performance squad players are also expected to attend the majority of competitions, so please look over the provisional schedule on Volleyball England's website for Junior Grand Prix dates. If you know you will not be able to regularly commit to training and competitions, consider if Development sessions may be a better fit for you.
