TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking with Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, the player agrees to the terms & conditions set out in this document. Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right to refuse a booking or refuse access or entry to any person / persons without giving a reason. 

ACTIVITY AT DEEP DISH VENUES​

Definition

The following terms & conditions are applicable to activity organised by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, this includes but not limited to:

  • Classes & Social sessions

  • Court Hire 

  • Private Bookings (coaching & events)

  • Tournaments

  • Training Clinics

  • Junior Activities

General

  • Medical - Before attending Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, players should have permission from a doctor to participate in high intensity exercise. Whilst attending sessions at Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, regular health and medical screening should be sought from a general practitioner. Players must make Deep Dish aware of any previous medical issues prior to attending.

  • Injury - Players must make staff aware of any injuries, pains or concerns prior to activity taking place. It is however the player’s choice to participate and no liability will be placed on Deep Dish or its staff for injury, illness or death.

  • Illness - If a player feels dizzy, faint, unwell, or any unusual pain they must stop exercising and inform a member of staff immediately. Although Deep Dish Beach Volleyball is sensitive to certain allergens, it cannot guarantee their exclusion from any venues. 

  • Equipment - Should a player have any questions about equipment, they should ask the closest member of staff to show how it is safely used. This is the player’s responsibility.

  • Attire - It is necessary that all members and guests of the club wear appropriate, clean attire when attending sessions.

  • Liability - The player agrees to indemnify and to keep Deep Dish Beach Volleyball indemnified, against liabilities, loss, damage, expense, costs and claims by any person in respect of injury, loss or damage to property however caused during activity.

  • Private Hire - The hirer will be responsible for the activities that take place. The hirer is responsible for: - ensuring the facility to be used is suitable for the activity, safe for use by the group - ensuring that all equipment meets the standards in force at the time of the event. The hirer must check the facility and the equipment prior to use – any defective equipment is not to be used and must be reported to Deep Dish Beach Volleyball. The hirer is responsible for any policies, procedures and risk assessments specific to the booking and group. This includes eg. safeguarding policies and procedures for under 18’s. 

Compliance

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball does not accept liability for loss of, or damage to property, articles or things placed or left on Deep Dish Beach Volleyball premises by the booker or visitors. 

 

The booker accepts responsibility for any damage caused to Deep Dish Beach Volleyball facilities during the period of hire by the group and will be liable for the costs of rectifying the damage.

 

In the event of a serious incident or misbehaviour, such as fighting, racial abuse, harassment, use of illegal substances or damage to property, Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will insist that organisers make arrangements to remove the booker from the premises.

 

The booker is required to comply with any reasonable request from a member of staff. 

 

The booker should ensure that they or their representative is present throughout the booking.

 

The booker shall be responsible for the following: 

 

  • The good conduct of all those participating in the booking, including spectators 

  • The liaison with Deep Dish Beach Volleyball staff when called upon to do so during the booking 

  • The supervision of all persons attending the booking to ensure their safety, and the protection of  Deep Dish Beach Volleyball property. 

  • The booker will be answerable for the good order and conduct of the group.

Classes & Social Sessions Cancellations

  • If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the start time of the booked session, the total amount will be credited back to the user's SuperSaas account.

  • If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start time of the booked session, no refund or credit will be issued.

A booking will not be deemed to be cancelled by the booker until Deep Dish Beach Volleyball has received written notification from the booker via email to info@deepdishbeach.com

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will make every effort to carry out its part of the booking but cancellations may be necessary on some occasions. In the instance that Deep Dish cancels the booking, a user will be entitled to a full refund.

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball  will not be held liable, or be required to pay compensation for any loss incurred as a result of, or in any way arising out of the cancellation. If a user's SuperSaas account is credited, no refunds will be available.

Court Hire Cancellation

 

All bookings will be made on the Deep Dish SuperSaas booking system.

For bookings under 8 hours per court on a single day:

  • If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the court booking, the total amount will be credited back to the user's SuperSaas account, no cash refund is available.

  • If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the court booking, the total amount will not be credited back to the user's SuperSaas account or refunded.

Private Booking Cancellation

All private bookings must be made via email with Deep Dish Beach Volleyball

Deep Dish will provide the booker with a quote and booking must be confirmed via email. Payment will be required before or after the booking takes place. Deep Dish may or may not ask for a deposit to secure the booking. 

  • All deposits are non refundable

  • If a cancellation is made more than 7 days before the booking, the booking can be rescheduled to an available date.

  • If a cancellation is made less than 7 days before the booking, the booking will not be rescheduled or refunded. 

In the case of bad weather that restricts the booking going ahead, Deep Dish will work with the booker to find a next suitable date. 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will make every effort to carry out its part of the booking but cancellations may be necessary on some occasions. In the instance that Deep Dish cancels the booking, a user will be entitled to a full refund.

Tournament Cancellation

  • Teams can cancel their tournament entry up to 14 days before the event, by emailing info@deepdishbeach.com, and will receive a full refund.

  • If a team cancels their tournament entry within 14 days of the event, they will not receive a refund unless the tournament is full and there is a team on the waiting list to directly replace them. 

  • Within 48 hours of the tournament, under no circumstances will a team receive a refund.

Player / Team Replacement

  • If you wish to replace a player or team within the tournament, you must email info@deepdishbeach.com providing all details including, but not limited to, full names, email addresses and UKBT membership numbers.

  • 4 & 5 Star Events : Should a player be replaced following the confirmed entry list, the team will be reseeded based on the new team rankings. 

Tournament - UKBT Membership

UKBT Membership - Players can not participate in this event if they do not hold a valid UKBT Membership and membership number. Memberships can be obtained through the link below and will need to be purchased prior to entry into this event.

Tournament Entry Deadlines

1, 2 & 3 Star

  • Entries will be on a first come first served basis.

  • Upon submission of entry form and payment you will receive a confirmation email that your entry has been received.

  • If you sign up and the tournament is full, you will be put on the waiting list.

  • All teams who do not make it into the tournament will receive a full refund.

  • Tournament Seeding will be based on UKBT ranking.

 

4 Star

  • Entry Deadline : 7 days prior to event start date

  • Maximum number of teams will be outlined in the tournament info

  • If more than the outlined number of teams are received, teams will be ranked by official UKBT National Ranking points and the top ranked teams will be eligible to participate. 

  • A final list of the teams who have successfully qualified for the tournament based on their national ranking will be published on the Tuesday of the event.

  • Upon submission of entry form and payment you will receive a confirmation email that your entry has been received.

  • Remaining teams will be placed onto a waiting list.

  • Should a team withdraw from the event, the next highest ranked team on the reserve list will be offered the place.  

  • All teams who do not qualify for the tournament will receive a full refund.

  • Tournament Seeding will be based on UKBT national ranking. 

  • Up to 2 wildcards per gender may be granted in exceptional circumstances and at Deep Dish's absolute discretion. 

  • In case of a tie in National Ranking points, previous results in UKBT tournaments will also be taken into consideration.

 

5 Star

  • Entry Deadline : 28 days prior to event start date

  • Maximum number of teams will be outlined in the tournament info

  • If more than the outlined number of teams are received, teams will be ranked by official UKBT National Ranking points and the top ranked teams will be eligible to participate. 

  • A final list of the teams who have successfully qualified for the tournament based on their national ranking will be published on the 14 days prior to the event.

  • Upon submission of entry form and payment you will receive a confirmation email that your entry has been received. 

  • Remaining teams will be placed onto a waiting list.

  • Should a team withdraw from the event, the next highest ranked team on the reserve list will be offered the place.  

  • All teams who do not qualify for the tournament will receive a full refund.

  • Tournament Seeding will be based on UKBT national ranking. 

  • Up to 2 wildcards per gender may be granted in exceptional circumstances and at Deep Dish's absolute discretion.

  • In case of a tie in National Ranking points, previous results in UKBT tournaments will also be taken into consideration.

 

​DEEP DISH JUNIORS

The following Terms and Conditions are supplementary to the above Terms and Conditions, and are applicable to Junior (Under 18) activity organised by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, this includes but is not limited to:

  • Junior Classes & Social Sessions

  • Junior Camps

  • Junior Tournaments

 

General 

 

No person over the age of 17 can attend junior activities. 

 

Liability

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball shall have no liability to the player for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising from the player's late arrival or non-arrival, or any other fault of you or the player.

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right to alter programmes, activities, itineraries, age brackets, premises and personnel as it thinks fit and without notice.

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will not be bound by any statement unless it is in writing and authorised by a Director of Deep Dish Beach Volleyball.

 

Drop off and Collection

 

You will ensure that the player is picked up and dropped off at the times specified by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball. 

 

You agree to incur extra staffing and venue charges if the player is picked up late. Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right to exclude players without refund if collection is persistently late. 

 

With the written permission of a guardian, Campers aged 12 and above may make their own way to and from the venue.

 

Medical and Behavioural

 

Any medical or behavioural problems of the Camper known to you must be shared with Deep Dish Beach Volleyball in writing on the Registration Form. Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right not to accept your Booking on the grounds that any such medical or behavioural information is not conducive to the Camper's or other Campers' participation in the Camp.

 

If any player, or guardian shows signs of Covid-19 on arrival, the player will be refused entry. A partial refund or transfer of credit may be made at the discretion of Deep Dish Beach Volleyball.

 

If any player presents symptoms of Covid-19 during the camp, they will be asked to use the venue isolation space and you will be notified immediately. If they are not collected, they may remain in the isolation space for the duration of the day. A partial refund or transfer of credit may be made at the discretion of Deep Dish Beach Volleyball.

 

Publicity

 

You acknowledge that Deep Dish Beach Volleyball may use for publicity purposes and without prior notification any photograph or video taken of the Player at the Location, and any statement (whether written or oral) made by you or the Player. You may exclude the player from being photographed/filmed in your booking, or at any point, by emailing info@deepdishbeach.com

 

Safeguarding

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will react to concerns, allegations and suspicions of abuse or neglect, in line with the Deep Dish Beach safeguarding policy, and procedure. 


 

Junior camps

 

Interpretation

 

In these Terms and Conditions ("these conditions"), the following terms shall have the following meanings: 'Registration Form' the registration form available for completion online on Deep Dish Beach Volleyball website; 'Camp' the camp which the Camper is attending, as set out in the Registration Form; 'Camper' the individual who will be attending the Camp as specified in the Registration Form; 'Deposit' the deposit specified on the Deep Dish Beach Volleyball website or published literature relating to the Services; 'Fees' the fees shown on the Deep Dish Beach Volleyball website or published literature relating to the Services; 'Full Fee Date' the date specified in the 'dates & prices' section of the website by which the fees relating to the Camp must be received; 'Location' the location of the Camp (including travelling to and from the Location); 'Services' the provision of the Camp for the Camper by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball;

 

The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

 

Supply of Services

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball shall provide the services to the camper subject to the following conditions. By booking and paying the deposit, you agree on behalf of yourself and the Camper, to be bound by the conditions constituting the entire agreement between Deep Dish Volleyball and you / the Camper.

 

Bookings are accepted at the discretion of Deep Dish Beach Volleyball and are not transferable.

 

You shall fully complete the Registration Form and supply Deep Dish Beach Volleyball with all necessary and required information in connection with the services.

 

If the selected service is fully booked upon receiving your booking form and payment, Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right to allocate your booking to the waiting list until a space becomes available. Deposit will only be refunded to the Camper if no space becomes available, subject to the discretion of Deep Dish Beach Volleyball director.

 

Upon 48 hours of receiving a Campers booking form, if the Fees are not received by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, the place of the camper will be automatically cancelled and your space reallocated to the next booking.

 

Payment of Fees

 

You shall pay Deep Dish Beach Volleyball the Fees and any additional costs which are agreed between you and Deep Dish Beach Volleyball for the provision of the Services.

 

No booking is valid until payment has been received by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball. (COVID-19 POLICY CURRENTLY APPLIES).

 

Payment does not include:

  • Transport to and from the venue

  • Food

  • Pocket/Lunch money

  • Health insurance

  • Medical insurance and expenses

  • Additional expenses incurred by late pick-ups

  • Anything else that is not outlined on the Package table on by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball website

 

On acceptance of your booking, Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will issue a confirmation email within 48 hours of submitting your payment.

 

If Deep Dish Beach Volleyball does not receive the balance by the Full Fee Date, it will have the right to terminate this agreement via the email address provided.

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will not accept any cash payments for the Camps.

 

Cancellation - (COVID-19 POLICY CURRENTLY APPLIES)

 

If you wish to cancel a Camp booking for any reason, you must do so via email to the following email address: info@deepdishbeach.com

 

If for any reason, the Camp is cancelled by Deep Dish Beach Volleyball the total liability of Deep Dish Beach Volleyball will not exceed that proportion of the Fees Deep Dish Beach Volleyball have actually received.

 

Rules, Regulations and your Liability

 

You agree to be wholly liable for any and all actions and/or omissions of the Camper. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, you shall be liable for any liability, financial or otherwise, or injury or damage to property caused by the Camper whilst at the Location, and shall fully indemnify Deep Dish Beach Volleyball, their agents, contractors and/ or employees for any loss, damage, costs or expenses resulting from such liability, injury or damage.

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right to make rules and regulations relating to the Camper's participation in the Camp ('Camper Code of Conduct'). The Camper Code of Conduct forms part of these Conditions and will be notified to the Camper at the Location or earlier.

 

Any failure by the Camper to adhere to the Camper Code of Conduct may result in their participation at the Camp being terminated without refund.

 

Without prejudice to paragraph 5.3, Deep Dish Beach Volleyball reserves the right to suspend, refuse or exclude any Camper at any point during the camp or before, if it is thought that their presence may be detrimental to the wellbeing of the other campers or staff.

 

Force Majeure

 

Deep Dish Beach Volleyball shall not be liable for any delay in performing or failure to perform any obligation (including to action any alteration or cancellation) due to any case beyond our reasonable control including lock-outs, strikes, shortages of personnel, labour disputes, war, riot, act of God, civil commotion, terrorism, malicious damage, threats to safety, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, environmental contamination, pandemic outbreak of disease, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, difficulty or increased expense in obtaining workmen, materials, goods or raw materials in connection with the performance of this agreement. No refund will be made, except at Deep Dish Beach Volleyball discretion.

 

ADULT TRAINING CAMPS

The following terms & conditions are applicable to camp-based activity organised by Deep Dish Beach Ltd. 

 

Interpretation

 

In these Terms and Conditions ("these conditions"), the following terms shall have the following meanings: 'Registration Form' the registration form available for completion online on Deep Dish Beach Ltd website; 'Camp' the camp which the Camper is attending, as set out in the Registration Form; 'Camper' the individual who will be attending the Camp as specified in the Registration Form; 'Deposit' the deposit specified on the Deep Dish Beach Ltd website or published literature relating to the Services; 'Fees' the fees shown on the Deep Dish Beach Ltd website or published literature relating to the Services; 'Full Fee Date' the date specified in the 'dates & prices' section of the website by which the fees relating to the Camp must be received; 'Location' the location of the Camp (including travelling to and from the Location); 'Services' the provision of the Camp for the Camper by Deep Dish Beach Ltd;

 

The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

 

 

Supply of Services

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd shall provide the services to the camper subject to the following conditions. By booking and paying the deposit, you agree on behalf of yourself and the Camper (if not yourself), to be bound by the conditions constituting the entire agreement between Deep Dish Ltd and you / the Camper.

 

Bookings are accepted at the discretion of Deep Dish Beach Ltd and are not transferable.

 

You shall fully complete the Registration Form and supply Deep Dish Beach Ltd with all necessary and required information in connection with the services.

 

If the selected service is fully booked upon receiving your booking form and deposit, Deep Dish Beach Ltd reserves the right to allocate your booking to the waiting list until a space becomes available. Deposit will only be refunded to the Camper if no space becomes available, subject to the discretion of Deep Dish Beach Ltd director.

 

Upon 48 hours of receiving a Campers booking form, if deposit is not received by Deep Dish Beach Ltd, the place of the camper will be automatically cancelled and your space reallocated to the next booking.

 

Payment of Fees

 

You shall pay Deep Dish Beach Ltd the Fees and any additional costs which are agreed between you and Deep Dish Beach Ltd for the provision of the Services.

 

Payment does not include:

  • Transfers to and from the hotel / airport

  • Pocket money

  • Souvenirs

  • Health insurance

  • Medical insurance and expense

  • Travel insurance

  • Any required travel visas

  • Anything else that is not outlined on the Package table on by Deep Dish Beach Ltd website

 

The Deposit is NON REFUNDABLE unless your booking is not accepted by Deep Dish Beach Ltd. No booking is valid until payment has been received by Deep Dish Beach Ltd. (COVID-19 POLICY CURRENTLY APPLIES).

 

On acceptance of your booking, Deep Dish Beach Ltd will issue a confirmation email within 48 hours of submitting your payment, which will include your remaining balance.

 

If Deep Dish Beach Ltd does not receive the balance by the Full Fee Date, it will have the right to terminate this agreement via the email address provided by the Camper. In the event of such termination (and in accordance with paragraph 3.2 above), the Deposit will not be refunded. 

 

Where a Registration Form is received by Deep Dish Beach Ltd after the Full Fee Date, it must be accompanied by the Full Fees. On acceptance of such Booking, Deep Dish Beach Ltd will issue a confirmation within 48 hours of receiving Registration Form and Full Fees.

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd will not accept any cash payments for the Camp package.

 

Cancellation - (COVID-19 POLICY CURRENTLY APPLIES)

 

If you wish to cancel a Camp booking for any reason, you must do so via email to the following email address: info@deepdishbeach.com

 

The Camp registration may be cancelled 42 days before the official camp start date, cancellations made within 42 days of the camp will result in the outstanding fees of the package selected by the Camper become due and payable and will not be refunded if already paid.

 

In the event that a Camp booking is cancelled by you more than 42 days prior to your official camp start date and for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited. See point above for cancellations within 42 days of your official camp start date.  

 

If for any reason, the Camp is cancelled by Deep Dish Beach Ltd the total liability of Deep Dish Beach Ltd will not exceed that proportion of the Fees Deep Dish Beach Ltd have actually received.

 

Rules, Regulations and your Liability

Deep Dish Beach Ltd reserves the right to make rules and regulations relating to the Camper's participation in the Camp ('Camper Code of Conduct'). The Camper Code of Conduct forms part of these Conditions and will be notified to the Camper at the Location or earlier.

 

Any failure by the Camper to adhere to the Camper Code of Conduct may result in his / her participation at the Camp being terminated without refund.

 

Without prejudice to paragraph 5.3, Deep Dish Beach Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the Camper from any activity at any time on the grounds of safety or unsuitability.

 

We are sensitive to certain allergens but cannot guarantee their exclusion from the Camp.

 

No person under the age of 18 can attend the adult training camp. 

 

Deep Dish will not be responsible for any actions undertaken by Campers when under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

 

Banned from event - illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’ – this includes Nitrous Oxide and associated equipment including balloons, unidentified substances, new psychoactive substances (NPS), illegal items.

 

Liability

 

Where Deep Dish Beach Ltd provides, in connection with the provision of the Services, any goods or equipment or services supplied by a third party, Deep Dish Beach Ltd does not give any warranty, guarantee or other terms as to their quality, fitness for purpose, performance or otherwise.

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd shall have no liability to the Camper for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising from the Camper's late arrival or non-arrival, or any other fault of you or the Camper.

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd reserves the right to alter programmes, activities, itineraries, excursions, age brackets, premises and personnel as it thinks fit and without notice.

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd will not be bound by any statement unless it is in writing and authorised by a Director of Deep Dish Beach Ltd.

 

 

Medical and Behavioural

Jewellery, Electronics, Valuables and Lost Property

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd will not be liable for any item of jewellery, electronics or valuable property brought to the Location by the Campers.

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd will not be responsible for any property left at the Location (by the Camper or otherwise), and may dispose of any such property if not claimed and collected by you within fourteen days of the end of Camp.

 

Force Majeure

 

Deep Dish Beach Ltd shall not be liable for any delay in performing or failure to perform any obligation (including to action any alteration or cancellation) due to any case beyond our reasonable control including lock-outs, strikes, shortages of personnel, labour disputes, war, riot, act of God, civil commotion, terrorism, malicious damage, threats to safety, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, environmental contamination, pandemic outbreak of disease, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, difficulty or increased expense in obtaining workmen, materials, goods or raw materials in connection with the performance of this agreement. No refund will be made, except at Deep Dish Beach Ltd discretion.


 

 

Deep Dish Beach COVID-19 Cancellation Policy for all Camps

 

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we want to assure camp participants that we are doing everything possible to ensure a safe environment. We are working with local authorities to make sure the camp is Covid safe and we will implement a plan to limit the spread of the virus.

 

We continue to follow the latest guidance from the World Health Organisation and local authorities.

 

We will constantly be reviewing and updating our cancellation policy to reflect the most up to date developments related to Covid-19 and any official travel or local restrictions, suspensions, quarantines or lockdown measures announced by governments worldwide.

 

Our aim is to offer campers as much flexibility and comfort whilst entering the camp.

 

If the Camper is unable to participate in the camp due to Covid-19:

 

  1. If for any reason, a Camp is cancelled by Deep Dish Beach Ltd, you will receive a full refund. The total liability of Deep Dish Beach Ltd will not exceed that proportion of the Fees Deep Dish Beach Ltd have actually received.

  2. If the camp goes ahead but the Camper is unable to participate due to Covid-19 related issues. You will be able to cancel the place on the camp and will be able to:
