Less than 2 weeks to go until entries kicks off for the Deep Dish Portugal Beach Volleyball Camp. With around 400 campers coming from all over the world across 2 weeks, we are gearing up for an epic time in Portugal in Spring of 2024
This marks our TENTH ANNIVERSARY camp, so we have big things planned to make this camp bigger and better than ever before, and we hope to see all you new, old and recurring faces one the sands in Portugal with us!
We want to prepare you for what you can expect from Portugal Camp for those who have never been before!

BEACH VOLLEYBALL TRAINING
Time to push your abilities to the limit, and dive head first into a series of training sessions led by our top class coaches that are sure to leave you feeling like a pro by the end of the camp. Our training programme, created by our head coaches, will ensure that you learn new techniques and tactics and grow as a player from Day 1.
Ready to get starstruck? Our coaches consist of Olympians, World Tour players/coaches and national tour players from all around the globe. So you are guaranteed to learn from the best of the best.
No matter what level you play at, we’ve got you! We cater to all levels and pride ourselves in the fact that our sessions will push you to become better players whether you’re a beginner or elite player.
TOURNAMENTS
What would be the point of training, if you can’t immediately apply your new found elite skills, and use them to beat out all the other campers in our daily epic tournaments? Nearly every afternoon we host a variety of different style tournaments, where you can play with your regular partner or team up with someone you just met at camp in a fun and competitive environment.
Most tournaments will have two divisions to cater for all levels of player, so no worries, even if you’ve only just started playing… you can still get your chance to play on centre court and fight for a medal and our awesome Deep Dish prizes.
Tournaments we host at the camp include:
Scramble - Get to know lots of different people. Players with the most wins go through to the finals!
Mixed Pairs - One male and one female per team (2 divisions)
ACE - 6 a-side with a twist
Portugal Camp Championships - Where champions are made. Single gender tournament (2 divisions)
Beach Battle - One men's pair and one women's pair make up a team in this unique format.
SOCIALS & BEACH FUN
Of course, camp wouldn't be fun without a bit of time to socialise outside of playing beach volleyball and getting to know your fellow campers. We have a range of fun activities you can get involved with:
Morning Yoga - Get your daily dose of Zen, and kick off your morning with an incredible yoga session in paradise
Beach Games - Show that you rule the beach in more than just beach volleyball! Play Cornhole, Spikeball, Crossnet and more!
Exhibition time - Grab a drink, find a seat and watch a showcase of our awesome coaches as they compete against each other in exhibition games
You had an awesome day on the beach... now what?
Head back to your hotel, get showered and head out into Praia Da Rocha to sample one of the many restaurants with your friends. After dinner you can head back to get an early night or join the rest of the campers at the designated bar. Come to our rooftop party and watch the sunset over the Algarve, join us for our Fancy dress night, and our legendary end of camp pool party.
ACCOMMODATION
You can choose to either stay with us in our official camp Hotel (Hotel Da Rocha) or find your own accommodation.
HOTEL DA ROCHA | 4 STAR HOTEL Stay with us! Located right on the beach, with sea views over the beach of Praia da Rocha and less than a 10 minute walk away from the courts is Hotel Da Rocha! We have a limited number of rooms available, catering to up to 4 people. With Breakfast included, plenty of great amenities and a central location, it’s a great, hassle-free option for your escape!
