What’s going down in Deep Dish (Vacations) town?

I don't know if you should be more excited about what Abi's been doing with her summer, or the opportunities to join us out on brand new vacations... We’re back with our - admittedly, slightly irregular but - highly functional blog post!

It’s been around 3 months since we left Praia da Rocha after an unforgettable 2 weeks. We hope you’ve had a fun summer, full of sun, friends and finding sand in random places! Here’s what’s been going on on our end…

Outside of work

Abi has been enjoying the VNL in Slovenia, and competing out on the UK Beach Tour, winning more medals than the average neck can support.
Elana has been surfing plenty and starting up a Beach Tennis community in Newquay!
Tom has been enjoying the London sun, coaching most Thursdays in Crystal Palace, trying to get his knee back into shape, and complaining about it a lot.
Ben ran the London Marathon and decided it wasn’t enough, so continues to flaunt his knee-health, regularly reporting 10km+ runs.

Exciting changes!

It’s been a summer full of the best kind of R&D: Beach Volleyball R&D. Whilst prepping for our now sold out Valencia 2026, we’ve been reading through your feedback from this year so far! We're pretty serious about this, and we are thankful for every piece of feedback you all give! We’ve tinkered with - and launched - a new and improved Gran Canaria, ready for January 2027! It's been amazing to see so many of you are coming back - we have now sold out of spaces on weeks 1 and 2!

We are currently making improvements to our Portugal camp, ready to launch our best version this Autumn.

We’re testing out a couple of new locations, and camp styles that we're really excited about. These are coming up quite soon, and have a few spaces left, so if you want to be the very first to do it, now’s your moment!

TRAIN. PLAY. SPECTATE - The most epic long weekend

Utrecht, Netherlands: 17-21st September 2026

Our first ever vacation alongside a professional tournament, in collaboration with Queen and King of the Court!

Train and play in the mornings with Tom and Issa, watch the best in the world battle it out in the evenings. You’ll also get a chance to play in the stadium court, you'll meet players like Brouwer and Boermans, and your package includes all the action with grandstand tickets at The Ultimate Mashup- an amazing format in the home of QKOTC, with players forming teams outside of their usual partners, and an electric atmosphere! As if it all didn't sound good enough, the camp runs Thursday to Sunday, so you don't need to take the full week off!

Rumour has it, after playing with Christian Sorum a couple of years ago, Issa's got a new partner for the tournament! If you want to cheer him on, or return the favour and give him some coaching from the grandstand don't delay...

Beachboard Hacienda, Tenerife - 17-24th October 2026

A bespoke, intensive, all-inclusive training camp in the warm-weather training facility that has hosted all the top teams.

We’re running a training camp focused on helping you to take your game up to the next level. Tom, Abi, Ben and Elana will be joined by ex Deep Dish, and current Northern Ireland head coach, Dave Panah to deliver a camp unlike any other. Fully tailored progression for your group, S&C, tape-watching sessions, scrimmages, chilled out socials with an intimate group - all the good stuff!
