The UKBT Club Championships are back for 2025, taking place on 7–8 June at Sandbanks Beach — and this year, we’re aiming to go even bigger. Clubs from across the country will gather for a weekend of competitive beach volleyball, club pride, and festival-like energy!
WHAT IS THE UKBT CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS?
Club Champs is one of the most exciting events on the UK beach volleyball calendar. It brings together hundreds of players, from elite athletes to social competitors, all representing their local clubs in a battle for the national title.
Each club earns points through team results across five separate tournaments over one action-packed weekend. The event is open to everyone, from experienced players chasing podiums to new athletes just wanting to be part of the experience.
DEEP DISH IS ALL IN
Deep Dish will once again be representing at full force, entering Division 1 teams from all three of our venues:
Deep Dish Bournemouth
Deep Dish Crystal Palace
Deep Dish St Albans
We’re looking to build on last year’s outstanding success and defend our overall title. Last year, our athletes delivered exceptional results. The Bournemouth Women’s team made history, claiming the Division 1 title with a commanding performance across the weekend. Their victory earned them the opportunity to represent England at the CEV Club Championships in France — a milestone achievement for both the team and the club.
The Bournemouth Men also impressed, finishing second, while, the Crystal Palace Men’s team secured a third place, rounding out a weekend of standout performances from Deep Dish athletes.
We’re incredibly proud of what was achieved last year and can’t wait to see our teams back on the sand this June, ready to represent Deep Dish once again.
GET INVOLVED
Our Division 1 teams are now in place, but there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved.
If you’re keen to compete, support your club, and be part of the Club Champs experience, we’d love to see you sign up for Division 2! These divisions are open to all levels, and every result still counts toward the overall club standings.
Whether you're a regular on the sand or just want to be part of the weekend, it’s a great way to represent Deep Dish and contribute to another strong showing in 2025.
WHY THIS MATTERS
This event is about more than just results. Club Champs is where teams come together, represent their communities, and create memories that last far beyond the final whistle. It’s a celebration of what makes the sport so special - passion, connection, and the joy of playing together.
Last year, Deep Dish Crystal Palace finished first overall, taking the national title. Deep Dish Bournemouth followed closely behind in second place, while Deep Dish St Albans secured a strong showing in fourteenth.
We’re aiming to defend our title as UK Club Champions, and that takes a full team effort across every venue and division.
